Southern California just got shocked with a 5.8 magntiude earthquake. And everyone there is just acting like it’s nothing. Hehe. Maybe it’s because the Philadelphia area hasn’t had an earthquake since the 1960’s and I’ve never felt one in my life. I was speaking to a fellow guide from my guiding server.. who happens to live in the same city. He actually says that there’s a fault line 60 miles from Philly. Lovely.

Anyway, I finally upgraded to Windows XP. I actually like the fact that I can now run more programs (I was running Windows 2000). Yay. /sarcasm
Last night, there was a thunderstorm. It was pretty nice, sitting in my house.. playing on my computer.. listening to the thunder.. up until the point where a lightening strike hit and our power went out. Then 10 seconds later, it went back on. The sucky part is that I was playing Everquest 1. Thank god I wasn’t fighting a mob, or else I would have been pissed.

July 22, 2008 — missjackieLast night, in guild chat (in EQ1), I brought up the fact that I was reading “Johnny Got His Gun”.. So the topic of government and human nature came up. And of course, I wrote “Communism in theory is perfect, but human nature corrupted it.” Which is completely true. No one owns anything, because everything is owned by everyone. But, those in power got greedy.
Upgrades
July 16, 2008 — missjackieSo, I’m looking into upgrading my computer. I’m currently running on an AMD 2200+, with 2 gigs of RAM. Since upgrading my computer requires to go 64 bit, I might as well go with that. I searched on Amazon, to get an estimate on how much I needed to spend. It was around $503 total. Which isn’t bad. I already have a monitor and 3 hard drives, so I wouldn’t need any of that. I’m looking into upgrading to a 6000+, since it’s not that bad of a price on Amazon.
I guess my ass needs to start saving up money. After this, my ass isn’t upgrading for a couple more years. -snicker-

Region Free, Yay!
July 7, 2008 — missjackieI found out a way to make my DVD player region free. Which means, now I can play PAL dvd’s on my NTSC TV. I searched for my DVD player through Amazon and one of the reviews actually had a code you entered in the Preferences section. The reason I’m so happy is that I have a copy of “Johny Got His Gun” and it came in PAL format. I thought I was forever screwed until I found out about the region free code. I even popped the movie in to test if it worked. And it did.
Me so happy.
Edit: Oh yeah. I suggest this film or book to anyone who thinks that war is necessary or thinks that going off the military would be a fun idea.

July 6, 2008 — missjackieSo, I’m trying to upgrade to Windows XP. Unfortunately, my dvd/cd burner won’t recognize the cd that has Windows XP. I looked it up through Google. No solutions. :’( I really want to dump Windows 2000 and upgrade, but unfortunately I can’t get the damn thing to recognize CD’s.
Any help? 
Soy Milk?
July 4, 2008 — missjackieWhy is it that everyone thinks that soy milk is actually milk? It’s not real milk. It’s SOY JUICE, people! JUICE FOR CHRIST’S SAKE! Not milk, water, or any type of liquid. JUICE! But, the Jews in the marketing department wanna market something NEW and IMPROVED and sell it ya for an even higher price. So they renamed Soy Juice to Soy Milk. And don’t give me a counter argument telling I’m wrong. We all know that companies like to rename products, just to sell you the same goddamn thing, for an even higher price.

July 3, 2008 — missjackieIn Everquest 2, I left my old guild to join a new one. The one I was in, I was a co guild leader. But, I felt like I wasn’t appreciated for the stuff I did for the guild. Plus, hardly anyone ever grouped with me. There was one person in the guild that had a severe attitude problem. So, I said fuck it. I’mma leave and join a new one. This new one, is so incredibly nice to me. Plus, they’re as goofy as I am.
